Acceptance of an assignment. Whether we are able to accept a particular assignment depends on the independence requirements applicable to it, on the outcome of our conflict check, on professional eligibility, and on a scope agreed in writing. The services described above are those the firm is able to render; it does not follow that every combination of them can be provided to the same client. In particular, restrictions apply to the provision of accounting, outsourcing and certain other services to an audit client.
Section references. Sections cited above are those of the Income-tax Act, 2025, which replaced the Income-tax Act, 1961 with effect from 1 April 2026.
